Citywide Revaluation Begins This Summer

A full measure and list revaluation is scheduled to begin in July 2024. This is a citywide project that will continue through 2026.

This process is done to maintain fair and equitable assessments and will be completed by Vision Governmental Solutions, Inc. (VGSI). The last full measure and list of all properties in Concord and Penacook was completed in 1990. This project involves visiting every property within City limits to verify the exterior measurements of the buildings, any improvements, and inspections of the interior to verify and update information on file. VGSI will inspect approximately 45% of the properties in 2024 and will inspect the balance of properties in 2025.

Information about this process, including a field inspection schedule by neighborhood and street name, resources and FAQs, will be available online at www.concordnh.gov/citywiderevaluation. The web page will be continuously updated throughout the project. VGSI staff will carry approved photo ID and wear easily identifiable and marked neon vests while conducting inspections throughout the City.

Anyone with questions can contact the Assessing Department by phone at (603) 225- 8550, by e-mail at assessing@concordnh.gov, or by visiting their office in City Hall, 41 Green Street. Their office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
